As part of National Road Safety Week, AANT is proud to announce its partnership with DriveAbout World, a pioneering NT-born EdTech company. Together, we are launching an initiative to revolutionise road safety education for new drivers in the Territory.

The highlight of this collaboration is the introduction of digital L Plates equipped with an embedded QR code. When scanned, the QR code directs users to the DriveAbout App, which offers 90 minutes of comprehensive road rule and road safety instructional animation. This innovative approach aims to provide new drivers with accessible and engaging educational content, tailored to their learning preferences.

DriveAbout content is available in multiple languages and can be used to assist new international visitors who are unfamiliar with NT road rules. The app is also available in Aboriginal languages and can provide on-demand road safety training suitable for Aboriginal people. 

The digital L Plates with embedded QR code are now available for purchase through www.driveabout.co website and soon to be from AANT outlets across the Territory.
