Street Smart High is an annual road safety education event dedicated to raising awareness among young people about the dangers of road trauma. Since 2021, AANT has hosted over 4,000 senior school students, providing them with vital information and resources to make safer choices on the roads.

Every year, young people are disproportionately affected by serious injuries and fatalities on our roads. Street Smart High aims to change this by giving students a real understanding of road trauma, along with strategies for staying safe.

During the lunch break, students will have the opportunity to explore various exhibition displays. These exhibits will feature organisations dedicated to road safety and services available for young people, allowing students to gather important information and resources.

  • There are no exhibit fees for participating organisations.
  • We encourage you to register your commitment as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Together, let’s work towards making our roads safer for everyone. Your participation is crucial in helping young people understand the importance of road safety.

Stall holders will be provided

  • 1 table

Stall holders are not permitted to stick any posters to the Convention Centre walls (even using blu-tac).

Additionally, stickers are banned from all stalls due to the risk of students sticking them all over the Darwin Convention Centre. We would also advise against handing out anything that students would be tempted to throw (e.g. balls, frisbees).
