The NT Road Report provides a wealth of information to ensure you are well-prepared for your journey. We know that the road conditions in the NT can quickly change, which is why we’re here to provide you with the latest information before you hit the road. 

Road conditions

Get updates on the current conditions of all Government controlled roads in the Northern Territory. This includes information on road closures, traffic congestion, road works, and any other factors that may impact your travel plans.

How to find updates for your route 

Use the interactive Road Map to see any warnings for roads on your travel route, including road closures, surface hazards and weight of vehicle type restrictions. You can also use the Current List page to search for the road you’ll be travelling on. Keep in mind that the homepage will also include any urgent announcements, so this is another useful place to check for updates.

The NT Road Report website also allows you to make reports related to road conditions and any incidents you see. This could include potholes, debris, accidents, or other hazards. By sharing this information, you can contribute to keeping the road report database accurate and up to date, and improve the safety of Territory road users.
