A key part of our claims philosophy is paying claims quickly and keeping customers informed throughout the process.
You can claim online for Car, Home, Contents, Landlord, Caravan or Boat insurance.
To make a claim, please call our telelodgement service available 24/7 phone 1300 734 729. We’ll go all out to put things right – and here’s how:
- Triage 15 minutes
- Quote and images sent to QBE by repairer
- Assessment completed within estimated 2 days (of quote receipt)
- SMS/Phone call confirming repair approval
- Repairs – customer books with repairer at time to suit
- Repairs complete – and guaranteed for the life of the vehicle
Due to the knowledge and experience of our team we are able to achieve excellent turnaround times on assessing. This becomes particularly valuable in the event of a catastrophe or severe weather event. We have the runs on the board to reassure our customers they will be supported throughout the process of making a claim.
Please note, as the Insured, you should be aware of your policy obligations around paying excess and if/when you might need to make this payment in the claims process. Another consideration we often see being missed by customers, is how they will maintain their lifestyle should a loss or accident occur. When purchasing an insurance policy, be sure you choose the level and/or optional extras to give you the level of cover you will expect. It is important to ensure you have adequate cover or you may be left out of pocket.
